1. You want a face that is as clean as possible, so take a good quality facial cleanser, and either with a slightly wet towel or a cosmetic wedge, thoroughly wash your face. You can also slightly wet a makeup remover pad, which will do just as much as a
facial cleanser. Neutrogena has good facial cleansers and makeup remover pads. Clinique has good facial cleansers and Estee Lauder has a good makeup remover, if you already have makeup on your face. Once done, pat dry with a good quality hand towel.
2. Take a foundation that matches your skin tone and using either your index finger or a cosmetic wedge, blend evenly around your face and neck. Once you assure that everything is blended well, take a loose powder and lightly dust over your foundation.
This loose powder should match your skin tone and should be blended evenly.
3. Take an eyelid primer and using either your index finger or a cosmetic wedge, blend evenly on your eyelid. Make sure that your eyelid primer matches your skin tone. Give your eyelid primer a minimum of five seconds to dry. Then, using a good quality
eyeshadow brush, take a dark gray eyeshadow and apply on your eyelids; go up to directly below your eyebrows. Also, go outward from your eyelids up to where your eyes end. Refer to the picture if needed. Then, apply this same eyeshadow the way you would bottom eyeliner. Refer to the picture if needed. Take a black eyeshadow and apply on your eyelid; do not go above your eyelid crease.
4. Take a black mascara with a large to very large wand and apply a coat on your upper lashes. Give this a minimum of five seconds to dry. Depending on how large your wand is, apply three-four, if not five more coats, at minimum. Again, smaller wands might
require larger coats.
5. Take a black liquid eyeliner and somewhat thinly trace as close to the edge of your eyelids as possible.Go very slightly outward from your eyelids. Take note that your eyeliner should not touch your eyelid crease, or even be close, for that matter. Take a pencil eyeliner and as thinly as possible trace around your eyes. Connect this with the eyeliner on your eyelid. Refer to the picture if needed.
6. Take a pink blush and using a good quality brush (a kabuki brush would be best), dust on the apples of your cheeks. Smile if you don't know where the apples of your cheeks are.
7. Take a non-shimmery lip balm and apply a thin coat on your upper and lower lips.
8. Take a nude lipstick and apply a thin coat on your upper and lower lips. Then, take a fragment of tissue or toilet paper and wrap your lips around that for only a second.
