1. Your face needs to be as clean as possible, free from grease, dirt, oil, makeup, etc. Gently wash your face and pat dry with a towel.
2. Find a foundation that matches your skin tone and spread evenly. You might not like to hear this, but if you want flawless results, one of the best ways to go is with a moderately expensive or expensive foundation. A $2.50 foundation is less likely to work than, say, a $24.50 one. That's not always the case, but most of the time it is.
3. Take an eyelid primer that matches your skin tone and apply on your eyelids. It's okay if you don't have any, but eyelid primer helps eyeshadow last longer and prevents it from running. Take a light brown eyeshadow (preferably shimmery) and apply on your eyelid with an eyeshadow brush. Go up to your inner eyelid.
4. Take a light gray liquid eyeliner and somewhat thinly apply your eyeliner as close to the edge of your eyelids as possible. Take note that your eyeliner should not touch your eyelid crease, or be near your eyelid crease, for that matter. Move outward from your eyelids and make a somewhat thin wing.
5. Take a black mascara with a large to very large wand and apply a coat on your upper eyelashes; give this a minimum of five seconds to dry. Do so one-two more times, and give each coat at least five seconds to dry.
6. Take a light pink blush and apply on the apples of your cheeks. Smile if you don't know where your apples are.
7. Apply a lip balm, if you'd like. It's highly recommended.
8. Take a clear or light pink lipgloss and apply that on your upper and lower lip.
